Lotus Restaurant is located in a former French colonial home, now elegantly renovated into a charming new Vientiane restaurant and bar.
The upstairs - decorated with handwoven silk and traditional Loa instruments - features high ceilings and hardwood floors. Low tables and cushions for lounging make it one of the most relaxing and chilled out spot in Vientiane.
Downstairs, full wooden tables inside and fountain and flower beds outside make ideal candlelit dinner.
Our kitchen boasts a wide variety of food styles from Lao and Thai traditional soups, curries, salads and laab to European barbecue steak, salads, pizza, and spaghetti. It even features a Mexican section with a special, authenticsalad found nowhere else in Vientiane!
Vegetarians will also find an assortment of options, and we can customize any of our meals to fit your style. Almost all of our ingredients are delivered fresh daily, most coming from local producers.
We also feature a full bar with a wide selection of cocktails wine, beer, coffee, tea, fruit shakes, drinking snacks, desserts and ice cream.
We can arrange and host birthday parties, specialplatters of Lao food for group tours, or even baaci ceremony with traditional Lao music.
